W. L. Butler Construction, Inc. works closely with a number of professional organizations to deliver value to its customers and continue to be successful. The sole purpose of these affiliations is to focus on quality while providing networking opportunities, safer jobsites, training resources, developing best practices and benchmarks, green building adoption and executive leadership development.


MEMBERSHIPS AND ASSOCIATIONS

American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE): Founded in 1911, ASSE is the oldest and largest professional safety organization. Its more than 30,000 members manage, supervise and consult on safety, health, and environmental issues in industry, insurance, government and education.

Associated General Contractors of America (AGC): A leading national construction trade association representing all facets of commercial construction for both public and private entities including building, heavy, highway, and municipal projects. AGC works to advance the industry and improve contractors' day-to-day operability.

Association of Commercial Real Estate (ACRE): A non-profit, professional association formed to promote working relationships and professionalism within the Sacramento commercial real estate community. ACRE brings together commercial brokers and affiliated professionals for business networking, educational presentations and discussion of industry developments.

California Receivers Forum: A non-profit organization formed by interested receivers, attorneys, accountants and property managers, with support from the Los Angeles Superior Court, to address the needs and concerns of receivers, to facilitate communication between the receivership community and the courts, and to assist in raising the level of professionalism of receivers throughout the state.

California Society for Healthcare Engineering (CSHE): Serves as a resource for the personal and professional development of members, so that they are the best in the health care environment and qualified to address the unique needs of health care organizations.

Coachella Valley Economic Partnership (CVEP): Established in 1994 as an action-oriented, non-profit corporation dedicated to expanding the economy of the desert region while maintaining the quality of life for a resort environment. CVEP has devoted attention to strategies of business attraction, expansion and retention during the past decade.

Commercial Real Estate Development Association (NAIOP): The leading organization for developers, owners and related professionals in office, industrial and mixed-use real estate. NAIOP provides unparalleled industry networking and education, and advocates for effective legislation on behalf of their members.

Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA): Resource for Construction Financial Professionals and the only nonprofit organization dedicated to serving the construction financial professional.

International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC): A global trade association founded in 1957 that is linked to more than 25 national and regional shopping center councils throughout the world. Its 60,000 members include shopping center owners, developers, managers, marketing specialists, investors, lenders, retailers and other professionals as well as academics and public officials.

International Facility Management Association (IFMA): The largest and most widely recognized professional association for facility management. The associate has nearly 18,500 members in 65 countries worldwide. Globally, IFMA certifies facility managers, conducts research and provides educational programs.

San Joaquin Partnership (SJP): A non-profit, private-public economic development corporation assisting business and industry seeking to locate or expand within San Joaquin County. Services are provided directly to the company and/or indirectly to their site consultant or real estate brokerage representatives.

San Mateo County Economic Development Association (SAMCEDA): SAMCEDA represents more than 30,000 employees in San Mateo County and the Silicon Valley working in the world’s leading knowledge-based capacities: from the fields of biotechnology, clean energy and sustainable design, to the sectors of finance, health care, technology and transportation.

Urban Land Institute: The Urban Land Institute provides leadership in the responsible use of land and in creating and sustaining thriving communities worldwide. ULI is an independent global nonprofit supported by members representing the entire spectrum of real estate development and land use disciplines.

U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC): The U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit composed of leaders from every sector of the building industry working to promote buildings and communities that are environmentally responsible, profitable and healthy places to live and work.

Vistage International: Vistage International, the world's leading chief executive organization, specializes in executive and business coaching for medium and small businesses by providing access to a worldwide network of expert resource speakers, CEO peers, and executive learning workshops.
