Dave Nevens, Jr. joined W. L. Butler in 1989 as a Senior Project Manager, quickly moved into the role of Vice President and now serves in the role of Chief Operating Officer, overseeing the operations of all company offices.
A construction veteran with more than 38 years in the industry, Dave is an integral part of the Leadership Team, specializing in commercial construction management, tenant improvements, and design build projects. His passion for quality construction is evident in everything he touches.
Originally hired to spearhead the company’s first satellite office, located in the East Bay, Dave has led the company’s expansion ever since. He’s known for his fair and honest approach to business and by achieving lasting results. Whether building relationships, quality structures, providing leadership or contributing to the strategic direction of the company — Dave is committed to being the best.
A highly talented and knowledgeable executive, Dave is active in the company’s college recruiting outreach program and enjoys teaching and mentoring future industry leaders. His definition of success is seeing the growth and development of those he works alongside.
