On April 25, 2019, the Pablo Sandoval Foundation and Good Tidings Foundation officially opened Pablo’s Place, a game room at the Columbia Park Boys and Girls Club in San Francisco. Pablo’s Place is a completely renovated facility, which features new furniture, a custom-built stage, pool tables, and much more for active club members of all ages. Pablo Sandoval cut the ribbon to officially open Pablo’s Place, with support from teammates Dereck Rodríguez, Steven Duggar & Sam Dyson, as well as coaches Jose Alguacil, Alonzo Powell and Hensley Meulens.

“It’s been one of my dreams to do something special like this for the kids in San Francisco and to make them happy. The new Games Room will provide a safe, fun, and comfortable place to play and hang out with friends,” said Pablo Sandoval. “I hope ‘Pablo’s Place’ will be a difference-maker for many years.”

The Columbia Park Clubhouse is centrally located in the heart of the Mission District. Since 1908, the Columbia Park Clubhouse has been making a difference in the community, serving as a place for underserved youth to find programs focused on academic success, healthy lifestyle, and community engagement. The room is active most days with elementary and middle school members. It’s also utilized as a safe and positive social environment for high school students.
