Safeway

Project Summary

Renovations to a 16-acre shopping center featuring a new ground-up 104,000 square foot Safeway with mezzanine at the site of two former retail buildings. The project included an above ground parking structure, full turn-key tenant improvement, and construction of a two-story, 12,428 square foot retail/office building; complete with a rooftop public garden for the use and enjoyment of the community. The original Safeway and Walgreens buildings on-site were demolished as part of the scope, and a former Wells Fargo Bank was remodeled for a future tenant. Sitework, parking lot modifications, utilities, infrastructure and off-site improvements were included as well.
