Construction of 106,000 sq. ft. of tilt-up addition to the existing distribution center.

Extensive remodel of an existing three-story former Emporium Department Store including new garden center, two-story stock room, (one level below grade), two levels of sales floor and one level for district and store offices.

260,000 sq. ft design-build project on a 21-acre site. The 105,000 sq. ft. two-story office features a 20,000 sq. ft mezzanine, lab space, clean rooms, manufacturing, warehouse and distribution facilities for the global healthcare company’s line of pharmaceuticals, medical devices, diagnostics and nutrition products.

Demolition of existing Costco and construction of new 133,690 sq. ft. warehouse store on a 12.5 acre site.

The new La Quinta warehouse and gas station was celebrated as Costco’s 500th location. The ground-up store, constructed using steel and masonry, totaled 149,646 sq. ft. and includes a deli, bakery, meat department, offices, a gas station and extensive sitework.

Partial demolition and remodel of a thirty five-year-old mall. This 66.4 acre site features 900,000 sq. ft. of mixed use spaces; integrating various commercial, retail, restaurants and service-type buildings.

Ground-up construction of a new Gold Level LEED certified building situated on a .39-acre lot behind the main clinic within a “pedestrian friendly” section of Palo Alto. An MRI Breast Imaging Center is located on the second floor with five mammography rooms for both screening and diagnostic mammography, two ultrasound rooms and one stereotactic biopsy room. The third floor houses two specialized primary care services including the Encina Practice for internal medicine and a personalized Executive Health Program. The new center also has a two-story, 36,057 sq. ft. subterranean parking structure reserved for patient use.

The multi-phased project included the initial basement modifications and excavation, construction of the the 16,981 sq. ft. MOB (core and shell) and, ultimately, all related tenant improvements. A team of design-build subcontractors assisted with the MEPs.

The state-of-the-art medical facility received a Gold Nugget Award of Merit in the Best Office / Professional Building category.

This was an extensive 34,382 sq. ft. expansion and makeover of an existing fitness center. Scope included two new group exercise studios, updated gymnasium, renovated pool, sauna and hot tub, family locker rooms, teen center, expanded kids’ club, board room, teaching kitchen and more space overall. The double-height entrance corridor, lobby area and the two-story wall of windows fill the facility with plenty of natural light. Areas of notable mention include the inward vaulted ceiling and the bi-level floors which incorporated structural cross bracing, as well as the vaulted ceiling curtain wall overlooking the pool area.

The Los Angeles Commercial Business Journal awarded this project with Second Place Honors for Best Redevelopment Project in the County.  The project also received a Merit Award from the AIA Long Beach South Bay region for its architectural design.

This was an extensive remodel and expansion featuring a new parking structure addition, modernization of the Hyundai showroom and
surrounding administrative offices; construction of a new two-story Cadillac showroom, customer waiting area, various other offices, exterior cladding and environmentally-friendly LED lighting throughout.

State-of-the-art exterior vehicle display lighting, extensive landscaping with storm water control and water runoff mitigation systems, parking lot restriping to incorporate ADA standards completed the project.

Located less than a half-mile from Meta’s West Campus in Menlo Park’s Belle Haven neighborhood, 777 Hamilton provides 195 residences and offers the latest in advanced building features and energy efficiencies included EV charging stations and bike storage.

The contemporary apartment community has seven three-story apartment buildings comprised of one, two, and three-bedroom units, each with a private outdoor deck and are organized around landscaped pedestrian courtyards  connected by paseos. Modern amenities include thoughtfully-designed solar-powered common areas including a fitness center, package concierge, dog park, bike repair and craft room, as well as 4,700 sq. ft. leasing center and amenity space with a double-height lounge opening directly onto an outdoor spa with bar and large screen TV, fire-pit and BBQ courtyard.

Ground-up design-build construction in 2002 of a new 17,485 sq. ft. auto dealership on a 1.2 acre site, with an 8-station service facility and a 2,400 sq. ft. mezzanine.

Interior and exterior modifications in 2012 to the existing dealership included a facade remodel, extension of the roof parapet, interior updates, and exterior landscaping.

The 2019 construction project for this well-known, repeat client provided a new 20,183 sq. ft. 2-story showroom, auto sales office, vehicle drop-off expansion, and new service bays. Initial scope included the partial demo of the original facade and storefront to make way for the expansion.  Associated site work, accessibility upgrades, and signage completed this project.

A new 11,350 square foot two-story Environmental Center, incorporating two Lower School science classrooms, two Middle School Environmental science classrooms, four general use classrooms, and two Faculty Rooms. Its curving floor plan conforms to site contours to minimize earthwork and creates a stronger connection to the land.

Designed for maximum flexibility in tall, day-lit, naturally ventilated spaces, the new classrooms are 15%-20% larger than the existing classrooms. Strategies incorporated within the design include Net Zero Energy, Rainwater Harvesting, Natural Ventilation, Recycled Building Materials, and LEED Certification.

The Nueva School Environmental Center has been recognized for its design and sustainability endeavors from various organizations, including Sustainable San Mateo County, AIA Awards, COTE Top 10, and the Gold Nugget Awards.

Constructed on a 6-acres, Springline offers the optimum in a live/work community,

Adaptive reuse and expansion of a former car dealership and parking lot into a 123,000 SF Class A life science building featuring a unique glazing pattern, brushed aluminum window system and natural finishes. A new three-story building over parking at grade level sits on top of the first floor slab remaining in place, relying heavily on concrete and structural as-built. The reuse and repurposing of both the existing podium and previously installed solar photovoltaic cells resulted in a development that is both economical and environmentally  sustainable. A roof deck features landscaping, lounge furniture, a fire pit and an outdoor kitchen.

Ground-up construction of 239 studio, 1-bedroom, and 2-bedroom apartments on 9.6 acres previously affected by the Tubbs fire in 2017. Fountaingrove (Villa Rotonda Apartments) is designed as a Mediterranean-style village, offering modern touches like quartz countertops, wood-style flooring, and smart-home technology. Its resort-styled amenities include a pool, courtyards, EV parking and a cutting edge
fitness center.

The first phase encompassed site work and hillside improvements for two buildings, while the second phase introduced six additional structures, including podium and ground-level buildings. Buildings A,B,C are currently being leased while D,E,F are  anticipated for completion early 2026.
