W. L. Butler made its mark building single tenant and shopping center retail space. From Target to Costco to Safeway to shopping plazas throughout California, we’ve long achieved client goals in rolling out new retail on-time and on budget.
With a focus on client brands, we’re often involved from the initial concept stage, progressing to real estate consultation, hiring partner teams, securing permits, scheduling, construction, and final set up. This attention to detail, added to our team resources and experience, has led national retailers, real estate investment trusts and developers to consistently ask us to turn their visions into reality.
Areas of Specialization
Usually built on multi-acre sites, shopping centers can be complex projects and can include multiple tenants, anchors and various store shells. Whether it’s from the ground up or rework, these projects typically require significant site improvements, facade and interior work, landscaping, and parking additions.
We have a history of completing store rollouts for leading retailers, beginning with design and progressing to permitting, install and grand opening. We’ll often function as the “in-house” development group for a retailer, responsible for delivering multiple projects on-time and on budget.
