A multi-phased expansion with only 5,000 square feet of the original building remaining intact. An adjacent Albertsons was demolished to accommodate the increased footprint and parking lot renovation for this busy store. Scope included a new 57,000 square foot addition; complete with new freezers and department remodels. The original 130,000 square foot building has been refurbished with upgrades to the fresh lines, racking, optical, bakery, meat and deli prep, rotisserie, dairy and produce coolers. The existing warehouse received a large expansion of the front façade on the East and South side; including new CMU, structural steel upgrades, concrete flooring and MEP upgrades, as well as expanding the sales floor and relocating the food service area, tire center, hearing aid center, membership, photo center and restrooms. Grading and site improvements were included as well. Onsite improvements included underground utilities, new paving, hardscape, irrigation, landscape and striping.
