A multi-phased project requiring the demolition of an existing Harley-Davidson shop, related off-site and on-site work to an additional two acres of land acquired from the city and removal of the existing 134,000 sq.ft. warehouse. Segmented retaining walls, perimeter CMU screen walls, a wood framed sound wall and the procurement of a building pad took place prior to the demolition and expansion. The existing warehouse closed after the busy holiday season and was replaced with a new Costco and gas station spanning over 17.5 acres. This project resided in a highly sensitive area; which required on-going noise and dust abatement, as well as the management and enforcement of a detailed traffic management plan to minimize the impact to the local shopping centers and neighborhood. Roughly 30,000 cu.yards was imported to construct the new building.
